Default Failure to Stop in Texas

My question involves a traffic ticket from the state of: Texas
I got stopped last week for failure to come to a complete stop. I pulled up to a T-intersection where only I had a stop sign. I stopped, looked to my left before turning right, and proceeded. The cop was sitting about 200 yards away at a vacant business driveway facing the intersection and pulled behind me as I passed and pulled me over. Now, mind you, there is grass growing along both sides of the road 2-3 feet high. I was very polite and he said I didn't come to a complete stop and I said I was pretty sure I did. He wrote me a ticket anyway and was on my way.

Should I file a motion of discovery to see if he got me stopping on video, and if so, when should I do it? If he didn't get it on video does that help or hurt me? What about if you can't see my tires to see if they stopped because of the grass, I mean if the video is inconclusive what does that mean?

It means it's your word against his. It could go either way.

Most people in TX take the online driving school. Contact the clerk of court.

I've already taken defensive driving in the past year.

Any tips on how to present my arguement?

If you show for court you can still ask for a deferment. Just be very careful during the probation period. If you can't go, an attorney can handle it for you.

OK, making deals is out too because I'm already on deferred adjudication for a pissant "failure to dim headlights" ticket. (Didn't flash their lights or anything, just pulled me over and gave me a ticket.) I need advice on how to fight this and win. I'm getting so tired of getting stopped every six months for every stupid little thing. "Do you know you were speeding? How fast was I going? 2 mph over the limit. Here's your ticket." And failure to dim headlights?! WTF!!!!!!!!!!
