    Default Minor Guardianship in Georgia

My question involves guardianship in the State of: georgia
My wife and I divorced in December 2008, she had younger children from a prior marriage, the two youngest girls, twins 8 years old, want to live me. She says she doesnt have any objections to this. Their biological father has not seen the girls in over 4 years. I dont trust my ex entirely, what should i do? can they live with me legally?

Probably. Provided your ex truly does not object and the bio-dad doesn't suddenly reappear out of the ether and raise objections.

If you want to take them on, you're going to need solid counsel.

You must love those little girls a lot. Good on you.
