Quoting Peanutsfather

My question involves paternity law for the State of: WA
My girlfriend and I had been in a long ditance relationship for approximately 4 months and were already talking about cohabitation when she told me she was pregnant. We were initially excited, but the distance became increasingly difficult for her and at one point we had a fight, she drove to my appartment and stormed out with all of her things. She refused contact with me and 10 days later sent me a brief email telling me she lost the baby. When I called to try to figure out what was going on she put her new boyfriend on the phone and has refused to see me since, even threatening a restraining order. I have said nothing threatening, merely that I want to see her to prove that she is no longer carrying my child.
I had dreams of being a father and would like to have the opportunity if the child is still alive. Do I have the right to ask her to prove that she is no longer pregnant with my child.

You don't have the right at this point to request anything from ex.
Check to see if your state (and the ex's state, if different) has a putitive father's registry. If they do, be sure to register. The registry will be checked if the ex does have the baby and files for public assistance or places the child for adoption.
