Default Getting Probable Father to Take a DNA Test
I was adopted by my adoptive father when I was 12 years old. I am now 25 years old and have contacted my biological father, who I've never met and who had never acknowledged my paternity (he denied it). He stated that he refuses to take a paternity test. I want to get him to take a paternity test, so that I can know for sure that he is my biological father. Is there any way I can legally do this at this point?

Default Paternity Test
You can't force him, but....

If you can get one of his brothers (or other close male relatives) to submit a DNA sample (it's a simple cheek swab) you should still be able to have testing performed which would determine with a very high probability whether he is the father. Consider also this story.
