Not Allowed To Date 17-Year-Old Girlfriend

I cannot find a single helpful website and this one looked like it could give me the most help. I am 19 years old and my girlfriend is 17 turning 18 in four months, we are not sexually active and her mother will not let us see each other and if she finds out that we've been seeing each other, she threatens to call the cops on me. Now is what she's doing legal being that my girlfriend is four months from 18 and less than two years younger than me?

You've actually gotten a lot of help and good advice.

Yes, it's legal for her mother to forbid her to see you. Why don't you take a break until after she turns 18.

My bad... you're not the OP!

It's still legal for your girlfriend's mom to prohibit you from seeing her. Until she's 18, she is a minor and her parent's responsibility.
