My question involves a child custody case from the State of: CA

If I have a stipulated custody agreement, which states that the father and I have joint legal and physical custody, but also outlines the days/times of our parenting time when it starts and ends. Can either one of us see our children at school, attend field trips etc when it's not technically on our parenting time?

My EH is denying my access to our children when the are at school and wont allow me to attend field trips. Instead, he has his new wife attend. And he is very adamant about my not taking or having the children until my appointed visitation time.

Anything outside of the order is usually by agreement. It sounds like you might need to file to modify the order to include both parents being allowed to attend school functions.
