Question Domestic Violence in Arkansas
My question involves criminal law for the state of: Arkansas

My friend has anger problems when it comes to his dad that contacts him weekly that divorced his mom. But today at 10 am he was arrested cause his dad was talking to him about something and got him mad and he hung up. After that he started to break stuff in the house and scared his sister so she called the cops but during the call he disconnected the phone and she left the house still scared and called the cops from the neighbors house. So it's 3 now and he is in jail and the bail is $1,400 for 1 $300 charge of disconnection of the police phone call and #2 charge of $1,100 for class A domestic disturbance. His sister his fine now, and isn't mad at him at the time she was just afraid. But they said it would be 7 hours before a bonds man can do anything. And I was wondering how bands work and if he doesn't bail out soon how long might he be in there? It's only a mistiminer right? please help. I know he should get some anger management and community service but I need some helpful info about how bail and bail bonds work.

If you friend is under 18, his parents will need to bond him out.

You pay a bondsman a percentage of the bond and he pays the rest. The bondsman gets back all of the money when your friend appears for trial.
