Thumbs up Children Want to Be in Court

My question involves guardianship in the State of: california
I have filed the papers for termination of guardianship. My children ages 15 & 12 would like to be in court and state their desire to be in my custody (mother) The guardian (cousin of one of my children's father,no relation to the other child) will not allow contact between my children & I since filing for termination. Can I subpoena them?

If you don't have contact with the children, how do you know that they want to be in court?

I suggest working with a lawyer, and that mean's I'm suggesting that you retain a lawyer if you have not yet done so.

What does the current court order say about your visitation, and what did the court do when you brought the denial of visitation to its attention?

I was in contact with my children up untill the guardian was served with request for termination papers & they both told me they want to talk to the judge and express their point of view about the guardianship.
I never received a copy of the current order. The judge said only the guardian gets a copy.
The denial of visitation is recent & I don't go to court until Sept. 19th
