Default False Police Report by Creditor
If they're a creditor, they have a security interest in your car but you are the registered owner. So if they were to file a police report saying you stole the car, that would be "filing a false police report". Could it happen? Anybody can file a false police report, so it could. Is it legal? Is it likely? No.
