My question involves juvenile law in the State of: New York.
My son has been telling me that we can't throw him out because he friend told him that if he's still in school he has to live at home. We threw him out once already and went to a house for kids 16 to 21 and he just came back and we are ready to throw him out again. What are our legal responsibilities here.

Because he steals. We had him leave before but now since he's come back he's back to his old tricks and isn't following any of the rules we have sat down. It's hard because he doesn't follow the rules (none of them) and our other child does...... We are at our wits end...
