    Question Using Attorney General Services

My question involves child support in the State of: TX and FL

Will have to use services of Attorney General to establish child support order and for enforcement services. We have an interstate case and its seems it may be our only option to collect from NCP. Hearing mixed stories on what to expect and would appreciate any war stories from those who have been there. thanks

Interstate cases are always best done through the CSE/ attorney General's office. Unfortunately, being a government agency they are always overworked and it can take awhile for them to get things done. But, they usually do get the job done.

I appreciate it. I hear good and bad stories and would appreciate any advice from anyone who has been through the system. I know if I file suit in the other state then I have to subject myself to their jurisdicition and travel there for court appearances. I've also heard it takes time and that the people running the agencies are overworked and as a result, mistakes are made.

Unfortunately sometimes they do make mistakes (usually it is in the CP's favor though). The only thing you can do is to keep in touch with your caseworker, by mail works sometimes.
