Im 16yrs. old and I live in North Carolina. I want to get emancipated and move in with my boyfriend who lives in South Carolina. There's nothing thats going at on my house that makes me want to leave I just decided thats what i want to do. I Have a job go to school make good grades and pay for about everything of mine. Im not too sure what my parents are going to say when i talk to them about it...can they stop me from getting emancipated...and do you think the judge would even allow it to happen? Need reponse ASAP! THANKS
