Default Ticketed for failing to stop at a stop sign

Well here goes .... I was coming into an intersection where it was hard to see ... I stopped at the stop sign as I was supposed to and eased up like I thought I was supposed to until I saw that it was clear for me to cross the intersection. When I saw that it was clear I went ahead and crossed but I also noticed a police car approaching form the left I knew I had enough time to safely cross the intersection so I did so. The office pulled me over and said I failed to make a complete stop. My issue is that the office was so far back that he couldn't see me stop at the stop sign he could only see me as I crossed the intersection. What should I do ? In addition, this officer did not fill out the back of my citation, there isnt a check saying if I have to appear in court or not and there is no fines listed. Is this citation valid under North Carolina law ? If anyone knows please please please help me out. email me replies please because I'm at college right now and wont have everyday access to a computer because the semester is about to come to a close . shakeita_kenon@yahoo.com .. Thanks in advance

    Default Ticketed for Rolling Stop

You don't think the officer could have seen you make a rolling stop - but you admit that you made a rolling stop, and apparently the officer did see you.

There should be instructions on or with the ticket, explaining how to contest it or otherwise to pay it.

You can also call the court clerk whose number should be on the ticket.
