Default Satisfactory Compliance
My question involves criminal law for the state of: massacussets im charged witn A N B ,in mass ,from my ex girl freind i go too pretirial tommrow my lawyer is going too see if she will sighn a satifactory copliance ,basical ,im paying her off with one thousand ,he said if she acsepts it ,the judge will have to acept it too i cant see any reason for her not too acsept it shes broke and knows i have no more money , is there any other reason this wont work ,i might ad shes a drunk/ drug head too ,yes i know i made a mistake getting mixed up with her .plus i have not pressed charges on her yet for a/n/b on me as advised by lawyer ,to wait and see we are playing nice so far this is a pretrial.thanks

I doubt that your lawyer will put it in such crass terms, "We gave her $1,000 so, Your Honor, you have to give my client a 'satisfactory compliance'." I doubt he would frame it in the sense you suggest - that you're paying her off to get a better plea bargain.

But if this is a first offense and the victim doesn't object to (or asks for) that type of sentencing, absent unusual circumstances (e.g., a significant degree of injury to the victim) the court will probably go along.
