Not like they're losing money? Not hardly! When a store credit is issued for merch that did not originate there, then there most certainly is a loss, and, the distinct possibility of successfully prosecuting those perpetrating the fraud refund.
Your situation is NOT different due to the simple and undenialbe FACT that the merch did not originate from any store and you know it. SO, when you attempt to conduct any sort of return/exchange you are very much defrauding a retailer. END OF STORY!
