Default Assault and Battery in Massachusetts
My question involves criminal law for the state of: assult and battery,i was charged with asult and battery in my own home in mass,i told my girl freind too leave ,i slaped her she slaped me ,she then left walking home 2 miles with her things then she called the police and abulance .said i choked her hit her ear drum my have fracter her ear drum ,shes a pill head only reason for her too go too hospital ,the police arived 2 hrs later arested me on asullt plus imtimitading a wittnes said i broke her cell phone that had no time on oi anyway i let her use my phone too call for a ride have a time stamp too prove that ,i asked the police at the time i wanted too press a and b charges too they said i could later in court that morning at aranment she told judge she was scared of me they through me in jail for a week now im out on house arest have too live with parents out of town ,she and court orderd me too stay out of my home town whare i own my home ,she lives in same town only rents a room near by town cops now shes trouble although she has no reacord as i know of yet ,im waiting for my next court date in a week pre trial my lawyer is not pushing for me too press charges ,i feel i should she hit me i had scratches etc in my mug shot and then court apointed lawyer pointed that out ,this is in mass please help ver confused here thanks i may ad that we were both drinking that night and she gave me some of her pills psription too take tat night .thanks

That is possibly the longest sentence I have ever read.

I feel like my eyes were assaulted. *g*

You should probably just let it go, and let her go.

(don't hit people, don't do illegal drugs-or legal ones illegally, and possibly lay off the alcohol for a bit...so when you go back to court, you can honestly say you're trying to get your life together.)
