A child in our neighborhood recently showed another child some sexually explicit images obtained from the internet. Is this criminal? What recourse do we have?
It'll be up to authorities to determine if criminal charges are appropriate, but the behavior should be reported to your local Child Protection Services office, regardless. And it couldn't hurt to let the parents of the child shown the images to know as well, so they can prevent their child from being exposed to this again.
