    Post Slip and Fall

My question involves workers compensation law for the state of: NJ

My attorney stated that the judge recommended 10k for section 20 settlement , the case could never not be reopened again. It was stated by my attorney that if the judge recommended I probably could not do better anyway, and it be the right thing to do.

I slip and fell on a wet floor on my job, went to all doctors, back is still hurting and I was I was lay-off close to a year now.

It has been 3 years since the accident, it was stated that by back injury was due to an accident 8 years prior. Do I want to settle for 10k no way of reopening the case , this was asked by my attorney.

    any thoughts? input?

    Thank you

I'm really not well versed in WC, but the folks over here are. You might want to address your question to them.

Most of them are injured workers themselves, and they're very knowledgeable.
