My question involves defamation in the state of: Arkansas
I was watching a tv program today that was a paid for public relations show about the natural gas drilling going on here in our state. The natural gas company had hired a local anchor person to narrate the program, and paid for it to be on another network. While watching the show, all of a sudden I see myself on their show without my knowledge or authorization. The shot was on the news earlier in the year without authorization, but as I understand it that is legal, but this time around there is a commercial interest involved using my image. I do not work for this company, and the only dealings I have had with them is trying to negotiate a lease with another company that represents them. What are my rights in regards to them using my image in their propoganda style paid programming.
