Default Misdemeanor Battery
My question involves criminal law for the state of: Florida, Mantaee County
We have no ideas how the court system works
My 19 yr old son broke up with Girl friend. She called police said he hit her. In jail overnight. Out on 750.00 bond. never so much as a speeding ticket. Do we need a lawyer for the hearing? Do prosocutors pursue these types of cases. No injury, police were suspicious of any wrong doing but had to arrest him. If we do go to court, what would a attorney charge. Thank you
