First Degree Felony Theft

My question involves criminal law for the state of: Texas

I was charged with 1st Degree feloney theft, (300k )the DA is asking me to come up with 50k as a downpayent for resatution.
Im selling my home but i think im only going to get 15k profit.
What are the chances of them taking it???

You can expect a court to demand the amount of restitution that it has decided you owe.

Where you get it is your problem.

The court has made it's judgement. It does not care where that money comes from.
