Default What is an Investigator Contact For?
My question involves criminal law for the state of: CA

I called the cops on my hubby and got a police report written up. My hubby ran away and he was not arrested. After a couple of weeks I get mail from LAPD. On top it says Investigator Contact. The body of the letter says Please call if you have additional information. That was it. I don't know why they sent me this.

Because they are still desiring information from you.... probably in relation to where your hubby is.
