Question Can You Finance a Car in Florida Without a Drivers License
My question involves an auto loan or repossession in the State of: Florida

My husband has the credit and down payment to get us a nice vehicle (that we really need). Only problem is I have the driver's license and poor credit. So we need him to finance and me to drive... Can you finance a car in Florida with out a drivers license?

it's up to the lender.

If your husband has a STATE ISSUED ID from DMV. then YES.

If not, go get him one then purchase the car. He can own a car in FL the problem is the auto insurance would need to be under his name or have him on your policy, I am not sure how you can do that. You would need to check with your insurance company as to if they would add him to your policy without a drivers license.

Lenders who issue auto loans require insurance on the car, it is a small problem that can be worked out with your insurance company but handle this before you try and purchase a car.

he buys a policy and lists her as primary driver.

drivers license or ID is irrelevent to borrowing money unless the lender mandates it. It is simply up to the lender to lend money to whomever they want.

I bet I can find somebody to lend you money without any ID, employment, or even a residence. You won;t like the terms and the collection "agency" has a rough method of collecting those 1 day late payments, but....
