Does child support stop upon emancipation?

If a minor is recieving child support, does it stop if th child get emancipated?

That depends upon state law. It may stop, or the state may order some form of support to be paid to the child. As emancipation means the child is no longer dependent upon the support of a parent, a court would typically be expected to terminate a child support order payable to the former custodial parent if asked to do so post-emancipation.
