Exclamation Minor and Older Boyfriend vs. Parents
I'm 17 and 2 months and my Boyfriend and i have been dating for awhile. My parents don't like him because he is 23 and has a bit of a record so they forbid me from seeing or speaking to him or they would call the cops on him for being with a minor. Can they do that and can he get in trouble for being with me?

Yes and yes.

Until you're 18, you're under your parents' control.

If they say "No boyfriend for you!", they have that right.

They can slap a restraining order on him, and if he violates it, he can go to jail.
