Drug Paraphernalia Charges

hello I was hoping for some advice on the drug charge Paraphernalia in the state of ohioLet me begin with telling you the story. Okay i was making a right turn and just as i made it about 20 yards up on the right was a cop and even better he was the cop that hauls around the drug dog. As I go by him he turns out of where he was sitting and gets directly behind me and puts on the flashing lights. I take a right and pull over into what happens to be the local police station/ court house. The officer then gets out and tells me I squeeled
the wheels when I took that right turn. He then goes on to ask if he can search the car! Knowing my rights I say no and he tells me okay but hes going to bring the dog and see if he smells anything. And what do you know..supossibly the dog smells something and he begins searching my car. All is well until the trunk pops open and I realize a buddy of mines
bong is chilling there.The officer finds the bong which doesn't even have a SLIDE in it so there wasnt a chance for him to find the resin or anything. The scent of marijuana is inside the bong so he takes it tells me what im being charged with. He wasn't a dick or anything about it
and kept commenting on how positive my attitude is and how i look a lot better and show a lot of peronsality. (When i was 16 or 17 I was charged with possession because my mom had called the cops
on me when she was going though my room and found a small bag of marijuana) To make it short i went to court and they gave me probation and house arrest and a rehab assessment that i had to take part of.
I ended up passing all my drug tests and they only assessed me with a 3 day seminar in which just about any other case if you get assessed they send you to rehab. Anyhow it was the same drug cop as i mentioned earlyier and even the female that came was there both times.
We had a decent conversation despite the situation and they kept noting how good I look and how much ive changed. He even went on to give me a name and number so I could talk to someone that could maybe help me out. The officer even went on to say that this guy I would talk to would maybe talk to the judge and I wouldn't have to go to my court day which brings up another question. He wrote me a ticket and said i had a court date but he never
told me the date or gave me any information regarding that. But anyways the bigger question im wondering is if theres any way out of this and how? I'm not even sure what to plead. He said
if guilty id defiantly lose my licence for 6 months which jus really sucks cuz im about to have a job and all and my mother is sick with cancer and sometimes needs me to take her places along with my lil sister. I don't really have that much money and I want to be responsible with this and not rely so much on my parents. in fact I havent even told my parents yet just because
I dont really wanna **** up anymore and dissapoint them which jus sucks that this had to happen. And I apologize for writing so much I just want whoever reads this to know all the infortmation to give me the best possible answer. But I REALLY appreciate any advice or help anyone can give me.
