Expunging a Shoplifting Conviction

Hi I shoplifted 5 years ago when I was 14 years old. I had to pay a fine and thats about it . I just wanted to know if its still on my criminal record and if there is anyway i can get that off my record because im finding it hard to get a job anywhere because of background check. and im interested in going into law schoool and i wanted to know if it would affect me getting into any law school.

Treatment of juvenile records varies by state. It probably wouldn't affect your law school application, one way or the other.
