    Default Diversion Programs

My question involves criminal law for the state of: Utah, Orem county

I know I should be asking an attorney this, but I won't be able to meet with one for a couple weeks so I'm hoping someone here can help me or point me in the right direction.

I know diversion programs for shoplifting aren't available everywhere, but is there a way I can find out (online or otherwise) if it's available in my area? Or is it strictly up to the judge? If it is available, what do diversion programs for shoplifting usually consist of?

    Thanks for your help.

The fastest, easiest way to find out is call the Court where your case is going to be heard.
