    Default SSDI And PTD

I am new to this site and have a question concerning SSDI. I applied in 03/05 for SSDI and was denied, I was also denied at reconsideration. In January of this year I had an OTR which was also denied and the case sent back to be set for hearing. In May of 08 I was approved for Permanent Total Disability by the Ohio Industrial Commission, the decision be based solely on reports from IC doctors, no hearing was held.
I guess my question is will my PTD approval have any bearing on my SSDI application?

Any info would be greatly appreciated

A state disability finding is not binding on the Social Security Administration, but perhaps the conclusion or any new medical information will help persuade them.
