DWI's And Criminal Background Checks

My question involves criminal records for the state of: Missouri

A 19-year-old neighbor was arrested for a DWI. She has not gone to court as of yet. Her problem is that she was just accepted into a nursing program that will run a criminal background check. Is a DWI something that will show up. She is willing to be upfront about this if necessary, but doesn't want to jump the gun and say something if it is not necessary.
