Default Warrant and Arrest for Tickets on a Background Check

I have been offered a position recently with a company. They do background checks of course and I have never done anything serious but I had an outstanding speeding ticket that I had been arrested for. I paid the fines and they released me. I also currently have another warrant I believe for a speeding ticket. Would this be something that they would deny employing me. Should I worry about this or do they not usually care about bench warrants / traffic violations.

Please let me know. I appreciate any help.

    Default Speeding Tickets

They may not even detect your traffic record; but you would be wise to resolve your outstanding traffic tickets. (If they run your driving record, they will presumably detect the tickets.)

That's kind of not really an option. The screening process takes place in the morning. I spoke with the recruiter he said they don't worry about traffic violations. I was under the impression this is an arrest. Isn't this like other arrests? Also does a warrant matter in a case like this? I mean wouldn't that show up on a criminal background check? Or it's only on my driving record because it's tied to a speeding ticket?

Default Get your own criminal record

Whether an arrest would appear on your record will depend upon whether and how your arrest was reported to the records-keeping authority for your state (probably the state police). If you want certainty as to what is on your record, you need to order a copy. If you're worried they're going to catch you in a lie, tell the truth.

Right so would this be a conviction? I mean how would I tell the truth persay. I've seen on applications where it says have you ever been convicted of a misdemeanor or a felony. In this case would it be no or yes?

    Default Arrest vs. Conviction

An arrest is not a conviction. I would hope that if you were convicted of a criminal offense at some time in your past, you would be aware of that fact.

    Default One more question.

In the state of Texas, are homeschool diploma's accredited.

I went to a school called Parkview Baptist School. We did our work and turned it in to a main office. I put the name of the school on my resume/application and the background people at precheck inc. called me when I was not home. They left me a message saying they needed to know what school I went to, what type of degree I receieved, and what year I graduated. I put all this information down on the application. Is there something wrong here or is this normal? I do have an actual diploma that the school gave me when I graduated. Though it was homeschool so I was wondering if I got screwed or something.

    Default Accredited Home School Program

Call the program's administrators and ask them if they are accredited.
