Default Can A Parent Make A Child Have An Abortion
My question involves abortion laws for the State of: virginia or west virginia...
is it true that a parent can make their daughter have an abortion ,if the girl wants it or not in the state of virginia? if the girl is 15 or 16 years old or younger

No. However, the parents of the new mommy don't have to support that baby in the slightest either.

The baby will be the new mommy's problem and expense.

There are narrow circumstances when a parent can compel an abortion for a minor, but none that I'm aware of that wouldn't involve both a court order and proof that carrying the pregnancy to term would cause significant medical and/or psychological harm to the minor. The cases I can think of involve significant developmental disability on the part of the minor.

That's progress. In 1974 a parent was easily able to force a minor to have an abortion without going to court. Thank God for progress.
