You attempted to embed a link the word "insurance" to a site which had nothing to do with insurance. That's a bit unusual.

You should, of course, work through your lawyer, and review any advice you get from online sources with your lawyer. Police officers can supplement police reports, and can correct mistakes in their traffic crash reports. You may wish to contact the investigating officer to explain the errors.

Contacting the witness would be a good idea, and any others you manage to track down. If the known witness, or other witnesses, can verify your version of how events occurred, you are more likely to be able to overcome the mistakes in the officer's report.

I am not clear as to whether your lawyer's paralegal suggested that you contact the other driver, but that probably isn't a good idea. I suggest you contact your lawyer and seek clarification.

In relation to your technical problems, I suggest you download and run the following free programs:

Spybot Search and Destroy
AdAware

They might not fix all that ails your computer, but if you're right they'll probably clean off a great deal of adware and spyware.
