My question involves an auto loan or repossession in the State of: New York

I'm currently about 7 months behind on my payments. I lost my job in Aug. and left the country to pursue a job lead. Well I'm back in NY and been getting calls from repo agencies. I would like to keep the car, but I don't have the 7 months back pay. I do have some that I can throw down. Do i call the repo company, the car dealership, or anyone else to help me out?? I didn't want to get this far behind, but it is what it is and I would like to take care of this. Also it is a lease for 36 months. If it does get repo'ed, would I have to pay the lease amount or the car amount??

Pay as much money as you can to the folks who loaned you money.

Then get caught up as quickly as possible.
