Accused Of Putting Some Drugs In Somebody's Glass

Hi Guys,
i came to this forum because something bad happened to me yesterday.
I went to a strip club in Florida with some mates. At the begining everything was funny for us. But something bad happened to us!!! There was a waitress who was teasing me she started kissing me in my neck asking me if i wanted a private lapdance. After that she told me am gonna ask my manager if i can dance. She told me don't move from your place i'll be back. I was standing in my place for a long time 10 minutes something like this. after that, i asked her friend another waitress where her friend disappeared. And then the security guys came and asked me to follow them. They showed me the girl landing on a couch. I didn't really understand what happened. They started harrassing me to say what i put in her glass. i said i didn't put anything and they harrassed me to say YES !! I was telling them i don't know what happened to her. After that, they said if something happen to her you are the only person who is responsible. Do you think that i should sue them or not ? I can't sleep and i hope that nothing is gonna happen to me because i think that this false accusation is absolutely unfair and the worse is that i have never seen and touched drugs in my entire life !! In Addition to what i said before, they said that she was awake and she doesn't feel good !!! i said just call her and then we'll discuss to see if i really put something in her glass. They didn't want to call her. So what am i supposed to understand after that ?

You are supposed to understand you are getting scammed.

Have they already sent you a dollar amount that will make this "go away"?

Ignore it up to and unless you are served with a civil complaint or a criminal warrant.... neither of which will happen.

But do you think that they will sue me or not ? And if they do , do they have any proofs against me ?
I never imagined that i will have a story like that in my entire life !! That goes too far !!!

If they sue you, get an attorney.

Do not settle this thing without proper legal counsel.

If they are running a scam, the last thing they want to do is take this to court.... because no one would EVER go to that bar again.

Strangely enough, some strip clubs are not owned by the most morally upright people. Until you are served, accept no more calls or letters from them unless specifically told to do so on the advice of competent legal counsel.

This, I don't quite understand. Why confess to something you didn't do?

If they didn't go to the police, then as suggested above it sounds like a shakedown.

But the thing is that he threatened me and the guy took my french ID to make a copy and said if something happen to the girl after the blood test am the only responsible.

You might want to call the police to see if they have heard of this before. Call and ask for the sex crimes unit; remember the detective's name. You can always tell them that we can go to the police department together. You already spoke with detective X in the sex crimes unit (they will know them) or the vice unit. If you go to the police be prepared for a grilling
...but we know that the French hate Americans so you might want to let the police know that you love America and are not like the normal French. You feel that you are being shaken down.
Tell the police what happened and that the girl asked you about a lap dance, there was no drink ordered, etc. Make sure that you have a friend or two go with you to corroborate your story. See if TUSCL.com has any information on this place.

These girls have drug problems that go well beyond anything you can think of.

There was a saying when I was a bouncer and people would ask me about *ahem* other things with the girls...
...if you want to sleep with one of these girls you better have a motorcycle and wear your Colors, have an extra helmet, a pocket full of $100s, a pocket full of coke, and smile at the police officer (we always had an off-duty officer on the books as a bouncer but he usually just sat there because we rarely had fights) when you leave. What you and the girl do is your business when it's after hours. Until then, be the wonderful guy that you are and keep your hands to your side when you are in the building.

The pocket full of coke was not a joke! About 75% of the girls had a drug habit. None of the girls had a drinking habit; they had graduated from drinking to drugs. They liked their men as hardcore as their drugs.

...and immoral owners... One of the partners ran off with the tax $$ and the other partner had to come up with the quarterly tax payment and track down the other partner. Needless to say that when hundreds of thousands of dollars go missing other people are involved before filing embezzlement charges. ...ergo, the guys wearing their Colors and riding the motorcycles who don't want to lose their access to a bar that respects them and they feel is a 2nd clubhouse.

They are just trying to shake you down is my immoral gut feeling...
