My question involves restraining orders in the State of Georgia:
I took a TPO on my ex husband for coming to the school at work at unexpectedly and harassing me and my 2 kids in front of other teachers kids. He hasn't visited regularly with my kids because in December he would not bring them home at the right time and the sheriff's dep. would not even do a report. His dad told me he took them to FL to see relatives so I thought they were kidnapped and plus he had planned it all week. My 5 year old was sick and so he gave him someone elses meds too. He did return them but I wasn't sure he was and nonone would help me get them back.
Anyway I told him if he saw them again he would have to sign something to promise to bring them home so he got mad and came to the school and it really scared me and upset so I got the TPO. He is also under investigation for putting drugs in my drink 4 years ago so he could have sex with me.
We go to court in a couple of weeks. He has 2 contempt orders on him for not paying child support. Each time he got a slap on the wrist because he made out like he was upset and doing all he could do, poor him. Then he laughed at me and said my lawyers were just a joke. He quit his job so he can't have wages garnished.
Questions: What will happen in court with the TPO? How can I argue so that he doesn't look like the victim? Then he will laugh at me and throw it in my face again. I am really scared for me and my kids because he keeps telling people that I should get what I deserve!! I have already lost my home and I am scared he will kidnapp my kids or kill them or me. What to do????????
