Default Can My Loan Company Still Bill Me After Repossesion
My question involves an auto loan or repossession in the State of: new hampshire

My atv was repoed last week. I had recieved a bill for my past payments so i mailed in the check to cover the past due bill. When I went online to check my account i was locked out. I called the lien holder and was told they would not accept my payment and they were repossing the atv. I just recieved a new statement showing that they accepted my payment and they still are billing me for what they already repoed. The date on the bill is the day before the repo. Do i have any rights seeing as though they accepted a payment they said they would refuse and they are still billing me showing my account to be current?

You still owe the loan.

They will sell the atv at auction and you will owe the difference between the amount collected and the amount of the loan.

i understand i still owe on the loan, but after they said they would not take the payment, they cashed the check and brought the account current. At this point the atv has not been sold, it is still sitting in the repo lot. So how can they bill me without knowing what i will owe?
