My question involves criminal law for the state of: Georgia
I need some help with a probation officer that is making statements that the judge neber ordered. My son paid all fees and fines on non-reporting probation and moved out of state to take a job. The PO now says that he is in violation. The PO cannot produce a written order as part of the case file. His he in violation or not? Does a no move order have to be written? Please help.

Note that a probation order typically includes both standard terms and any additional terms ordered by the court. It's likely that not moving to another state without court permission is a standard term.
