Default Alabama Minor's Property Rights
My mother kicked me out of the house at age 18. Im fine with this but she will not let me take any of my things that I paid for (like computer). Am I allowed to take these things and if not will I own them when I reach the age of majority?

You have reached the age of majority.

Do you have receipts for the items you purchased? If you paid for it, it is yours.

The Alabama age of majority is 19. I probably should have included that and I purchased the computer when I was 16 but I do have a reciept. Does this change anything?
