Accessing State Land From My Land At The Corner

My question involves real estate located in the State of: Michigan
The DNR says I cannot access state land from my land at the corner because I am invading the air space of the owners of the other two properties. I share a corner, they share property lines with me and the state. The Conservation Officer says I can. The district land manager says I can't. They can't even agree. Does anyone know the answer to this. All I want to do step from my corner to the state corner to deer hunt. I have searched for a statute but have been unable to find anything.

Sounds like a specious invalid argument to me.

You might ask the two adjoiners if they mind that you "hop" through their airspace to state land. If they agree that you are not a threat I don't think that you can be stopped, particularly if youget it from them in writing. The DNR is not the enforcer of possible theoretical trespasses on land which it does not own.

And I thought I had heard it all. GEEZ. Things must be slow for DNR or he has a reason to dislike you.

One of the owners is complaining from what I understand. That is why I am trying to determine the legality of this. I was told I could walk down the road a ¼ mile and walk back in to the same area around their property, but not jump the corner. I think the other owner is paranoid. It’s state land, not theirs, but they think it is. Tried to approach them, but they won’t even talk to me. Should have checked out the neighbors before I bought. :-(

If the boundary lines are adjacent, you can cross, even at a corner.
