Drivers License Revoked And Warrant

I was pulled over (over a year ago) and the cop only gave me a ticket for failure to provide proof of insurance(though the car was insured at the time of the ticket!) so after a couple trips to the courthouse I THOUGHT I got the whole thing straightened out, well then I moved and now I am trying to renew my license and I am afraid I might not be able to because there might still be this ticket and if so there is probably a warrant attached because it's been a long time. I don't know what to do or how to go about fixing this. (Ticket in Colorado) Living in NE

Call the Colorado DMV and ask.

I was told (by word of mouth) that if I called and they new I didn't live in that state anymore that I could be located and arrested here?

Tell that person to stick his foot in there.

So, if I were to get the proof of insurance can this ticket and warrant just go away and off the record?
