    Default Subcontractor or Employee

I was recently fired from a company that I thought I was a sub-contractor for.

After talking with a few friends, they said that I may be eligiable for unemployment.

How can I determine if I was in deed a sub or employee?
How do I find if I am eliagable to collect unemployment.

    Thank you

    Default Unemployment for Independent Contractor

The best way to find out is to review your situation in conjunction with the official information offered by The State of New Jersey and, unless you see an obvious reason not to do so, to apply for benefits.
