    Default How can I be emancipated in Minnesota?

    i am a 16 year old girl living in minnesota and my parents are divorced and i would like to be emancipated so i can move out and have it be ok. where can i go to do this? can i even do this in minnesota? does it cost anything? do i need both my parents consent if i am living with my mother? HELP ME PLEASE

    Default Minnesota Emancipation Law

    Minnesota has no emancipation statute, but there is case law suggesting that a minor may emancipate through lawful marriage or through parental consent.

    what is the parental consent? like is that just your parents saying oh yea you can move out? or how does that all work? i wanna be completely on my own....how can i go about this?

    ok...i have a friend that got emancipated in minnesota....so its possible...can you please tell me how? or where to start or something
