Evicting Roommate (on lease)

I'm having problems with a roommate. He's the boyfriend of another roommate and they're splitting up but he refuses to take his name off the lease and demands that we leave instead. Problem is, he can't afford to pay the rent and hasn't paid any since he's gotten here. He hasn't been violent, hasn't destroyed any property, the only thing he has done is called and harassed said other roommate and threatened to not leave. Is there any way the Property Manager could evict him based on these things? If not, what should be done? Need help ASAP ty!

Breaking up with a roommate, last I checked, wasn't a basis for a lawful eviction.

Does he propose that he would take over the lease and that both of you would be released? How many months are left in the lease?

the lease is good until May, and yes he is but the problem is that we can't leave this apartment and he has no money, he wouldn't qualify for the lease. He only has enough money for one month of rent, no bills, and he has no job. Every check that has been written for the rent was by one of us, never by him.
