    Default Unpublished Book

Ok, my friend and I are writing a book. It's not quite done yet but I wanted to post the prologue on myspace to view other people's reactions and get some feedback. So my question is...am I to copyright the prologue, post it up, and then when the book is complete...go back and copyright it again? And how long does it take to copyright your work? Also, what if I send it to a publisher and I need to do some editing..after that's done, do I need to get another copyright on my work? Help! I'm so confused.

    BTW I live in GA
