My question involves emancipation laws for the State of: Wisconsin

I dont know what to do i'm turning 16 and i need to become emancipated cause i want to get married to my boyfriend but i dont know what age i can be. Anyone know?

And does anyone know if i need both parents to sign to get married.

One more if i'm 16 and my parents give me premission to be married and take me to get it done can i get married to my 20 yearold boyfriend without him getting in trouble?

Wisconsin has no emancipation statute. There is case law suggesting that it is possible to emancipate through lawful marriage, or active duty service in the armed forces. Niesen v. Niesen, 38 Wis. 2d 599; 157 N.W.2d 660 (1968). You cannot marry before age 18 without your parents' permission.
