Default Creditor Comes Out Of The Blue

My question involves bankruptcy in the state of: FL
I filed Chapter 7 in Jan. of this year and listed all known creditors. In the middle of March a creditor that was not on my credit report, and had not sent any notices of the debt (it is a University) has now stated I owe for a class that I never withdrew from. I have tried to talk to the school and told them I never took the class, and did withdraw, but they have now turned it over to a very aggressive collection agency. My bankruptcy has been discharged as of a few days ago. (This is not student loan related). What can I do???!!! Can I somehow add this to the BK, and if so how. Also, I filed pro se.

You can file an amendment with the court. If the bk has already been closed, the fee the court charges for reopening & filing an amendment will be more than if the bk was still pending when you filed the amendment. Usually if you didn't list a creditor in a chapter 7 no asset case, there has been case law that the unlisted creditor debt will be discharged. (but not always)

You may want to get the help of a bk attorney.
Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.
