Does my ex-employer have the right to forbid my having any contact with people still employed at the company outside the workplace?
I don't know how they can take any action against you since you no longer work there. However; if the employees still working there have contact with you & are told not to, the employer might take "adverse" action against them.
We don't have much info from you to go on.
