Question Car Repo In Utah
My question involves a consumer law issue in the State of: Utah
I am in a bind I volunarily surrenderd my 06 honda and now Honda Finance wants me to make payments f $500.00 a month. I want to pay back my loan, but if I could make 500.00 payments I would not have gave my truck back. I tried to make arrangements to pay a small amount for now and to make another arrangement in 6mo. because I am hoping we will be in a better position to make higher payments. The person on the phone refused to take any payment that was less then 270.00. I am stuck and need to know what else I can do.
Thanks

A few ideas that come to mind: If they agreed to $270, you could go with that number. You can choose not to pay and see if they sue you. You can get a loan from somebody else and pay off your debt. You can file for bankruptcy.
