    Default Abandoned personal property

My wife left me while I was in town running errands, she left a message "I am leaving" and signed it, nothing further, no why or when she would be back for her personal property. I have not heard from her since that day which was 1 November 2005. I was wondering what my legal rights are to dispose of her things.

    Default Disposing of Wife's Property

It's not yours, and it's only been twenty days, so don't dispose of it. If you do, you'll almost certainly create headaches for yourself in the divorce process that is likely to follow. If you don't want to see her stuff, box up her belongings and store them in an appropriate location.
